Accessible via boat from Pointe-de-Riviere-du-Loup, this remote island is found in the St. Lawrence River. It is dense with forest and the habitat of many a bird, particularly the eider duck. It is part of a cluster of islands that comprise the Pèlerins archipelago.
Parc lineaire interprovincial du Petit Temis/section Nord (Petit Temis Interprovincial Linear Park/North Section) features an 134 km (83.3 mi) cycling and walking path, a cafe and three small, rustic campgrounds. The path passes by a number of lakes, rivers and marshes, and visitors will have the opportunity to view local wildlife.
Parc des chutes de Rivière-du-Loup (Riviere-du-Loup Waterfall Park) offers 5 km (3.1 mi) of walking paths, picnic areas, and gardens, marshes and orchards for visitors to explore. This is all in addition to the 30 m (98 ft) waterfall which can be viewed from either of two bridges that cross the river. The park is open throughout the year.
